We don't get a whole lot of windless days where I live, but I'd like to know if there's anything I can do when the Desire comes out to make it a little more trickable. Or is it me?

Not really, the desire was never made for tricking, only flying in light winds without much movement needed by the flier, so wheel chair kite fliers can fly, Older adults can fly etc. and beginner fliers could now fly in light winds, all with an affordable UL.
TKO uses the Desire as a team kite believe it or not. Why? Because they are not flying alot of tricks and wind range and tracking are more important to them then tricks.
I have new modles already designed and mostly tested at the factory, enough for a complete new line of kites, but since the line up we have now is so full and complete, they will have to wait. The first ones to come out of that though will the tricky UL I designed last year, just needs some more TLC.....
More news to follow. |

The Desire UL has also become my first choice on light wind days! Again, it's the "team" aspects of the kite that I like... 'er need. _________________ "The One-Man Kite Team"

If you want to fly, the Desire will do it. If you want to trick in light winds, there are very few kites available that can really do the job. Although I have 2 in prototype stage, unfortunately they will not be available for some time. I have planned for a while now to UL the FC, with a bit of testing, but nothing concrete as of yet, I will let you know.
By the time you are ready for light wind tricking, I should have something available.
Best wishes
