New Tech Kites

ok I think i have decided to order a techno after class tomorrow.
but I only know of one kite shop online and the "trance" color is out of stock.
Anyone know a good place to order, with fast friendly service, and the trance design in stock, price matters also

Hi Christian.

An official wieght kit for the Techno is not availalbe, I will see about getting some weights in austin.

Did you try GWTW?
Another one to check would be Ikite.com, think that is the address.

We will have to try to help you with the extras christian

yes, i tried them both, steve dosent have the trance colors and i didnt see a techno at ikites

Chris, can you help him out? I dont work in austin, I dont live in austin, and I dont know the availability of every color combo of every model daily, but Chris is the GM and should know better than I. Can you help him?

i've been wondering the same exact thing!! every kite shop i normally check out(which is about several) dont have it in..its almost June and i hardly see any technos on online kite shops.. Steve(GWTW) has two of the colors but not the trance...it currently says "currently on back order" for that color combo. so is there a delay with the technos being produce or something!?!?

whoa! thats insane!? $70!? am i reading that right! how can it be so cheap! the MSRP for the techno is $85 isnt it not? and even on ebay the techno isnt that cheap!! wow!. boy steve has them for $85 uh oh!! thats a pure pure steal at $70 RTF!. Dodd can you explain this some how lol

shipping is UPS ground $10.50....and over $60 UPS to Canada!?!?!?!! which is completely BS!!! i figure it'll come to that, $70 was too good to be true im still better off buying from GWTW lol.

Sorry Canadians!

Not my fault!

But even $100 for the techno is worth it really, even more! the nearest competitions kite in that size in that frame is still double or more than that price.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Techno so far, I feel we really have a winner with this one. Thanks and best wishes to you.

oh no no, dont apologize! its completely not your fault at all.. every kite shop has their own prices for shipping, some are cheap(er) some are totally insane like that one i just saw($65 for shipping to Can. LOL!!!) thats just pure insane paying X amount for a kite and paying the same X amount price again for shipping. only if i was back in Tampa hhmm i gotta find some kiteshops online in canada.

I, too, like the Trance color. Very Happy

Still debating.... Should I pull the trigger???!!!!!

Even in my little experience, it seems like the most bang for the buck!

You'll be better off if you call Tony and talk to him directly. As far as I can tell it is pretty much a one man show and someimes he is away at shows. I have placed a couple of orders and both times what I ordered was not in stock. Considereing that, my stuff got to me pretty quickly. As far as shipping, I spent about $500 and shipping was still only $10.
