|

On another forum, there was comments from Dodd regarding a new 3pt. bridle & Center-T on the 06 version of the Big Bang. I'm curious as to why?
Are there issues with the original active bridle and center-T? _________________ Kitebag Includes - NTK French Connection & Big Bang |

Dodd is best suited to answer this question, but I'll give it a stab.
3 Point Bridle - Through development of the French Connection, Dodd has come to the conclusion that he can get as much perfomance out of a 3 point bridle as an active bridle on his kite design(s). The advantage here is that 3 point bridles are much easier to adjust for consumers.
Center-T - This will be switching to a hand milled Aluminum Center for improved durablility.
I hope this helps.

Any danger of getting the measurements or will the bridle be available as a spare part ?
I'm sure many people will at least want to try a static bridle and the Big Bang is a fiddler's/tweaker's dream

Dodd did promise those specs a long time ago. My BBPro bridle is about worn through and if I have to tie my own replacement - the 3-pt would be much easier. So, Dodd, please, if you have them, and they work - send them our way. Thanks.

Sorry there has been no follow up from Dodd
I'll ask the factory to send me their specifications. _________________ "Fly a kite for a child and you entertain them for the day. Teach a child to fly a kite and you entertain them for life." |
