IS there a "offical" bridle measurement?
and what, if any, changes to the bridle are there?
any word on what changes to the standoffs will do?
thanks for the info

the only measurements i found-on another website are these:
FC
Inhaul leg 53cm
Outhaul leg 52cm
Upper leg 49cm
Pig tail 5cm
I also emailed Dodd asking for his measurements but haven't heard back
I'm not sure if these are 'stock' or somebodys 'tweak'.

Yeah... weird, not hearing him in all kites forum. Maybe so busy in his drum shop, or in China factory... or having vacation...? Just wait, he will be back.

Ok...here it is.

Bridle A (Inhaul)
Total length is 222 cm with a mark at 53 cm from each end. At 111cm the bridle passes through the small hole in the center-t. Tie a small knot to keep it from pulling through.

Bridle B (Outhaul)
Total length is 64 cm, which includes a 8 cm loop on one end.

Once the ends are tied to the frame, the mark at on Bridle A is larksheaded onto the loop of Bridle B.

Hi DD,

Maybe easier to check than the 'pure' measurements from Chris the stock bridle of my 2nd batch FC looked like this

but after flying 5h+ I like it more like this, with a 4cm turbo

and -as you can see on the picture- with the outer Stand-off-Connector slided close to the inner one.

btw ... if the bridle wears at the center-T (really quick on mine), try this

no problems anymore or at least not that fast.

Mike
