Just wondering why more kite companies don't post the various specs for their kites (type of sticks used, lengths, bridle measurements, etc.) on their websites. Some do, but it seems like most of the time, someone has to ask around--especially if there isn't a kite shop nearby or if the local shop doesn't carry the kite you've broken.
I would assume that there are spec sheets that manufacturers distribute to the kite shops, and there may be reasons why this info is not available to the general public on the websites. Speaking for myself, I like having this information readily available. |

We have been pretty quick to post information when asked . I'll ask the webmaster to find a place for us to post part specifications so it more accessable. _________________ "Fly a kite for a child and you entertain them for the day. Teach a child to fly a kite and you entertain them for life." |

Do you have the diameter for the center spine spar on the Desire UL?
No I haven't folded it yet, I just wanted to put an vinyl endcap on it where it tucks into the apex of the sail (kind of wish it terminated in a t-bar like the back end of the spine does). Hoping the nose will be a bit more forgiving of any future miscues on my part, if I soften that section a bit.

Sam,
The Desire UL is framed in .1570 carbon. _________________ Troy Gunn - TKO Sport Kite Team - USA
