After flying my New Jam I noticed some spots on the sail near the nose. Tried 409 and they did not come off. What is the strongest stuff I can try and not damage my sail?
Thanks

Well, I have gotten my hands on a rather dirty kite before and I cleaned it with dishsoap and an old toothbrush and that worked pretty good for me _________________ restless wind |

Thanks for the tip. I used soap and a paper towel, but not dishsoap and a toothbrush, will the next time it is raining outside. I did try Goo Gone, 409 and 409 pro. The dark marks are still there. Just glad they are not visible from a distance.
There is still a product or two that the folks over at Kitebuilders.com recommend. I will try them when I have the time to purchase them and give them a go.
thanks

goo gone might not be the best bet, it has some kind of oil in it and could stain your sail and make it obvious that you have been cleaning. Or leave some even bigger spots. _________________ restless wind |
