Well my "Trance" Techno arrived last night on my doorstep I guess it's a speciall edition "Trance" color scheme because it showed up in these foofie Blue,Purple and Pink "Ambient" colors
Quick Rant An e-mail has been sent to BestKites for telling me that they had the "Trance" color in stock when in reality they didn't and I got the Ambient AND when I ordered my "Black Rainbow" New Jam I got the "Classic Rainbow" which I was slightly bumbed about but actually like the Classic so I let it slide. AND my order for my DesireUL hasn't proceesed or shipped yet Shoulda ordered it from NorthCoastWind Wonder if I'll actually get the "Cold" color I ordered or the "hot" which I did NOT Ok enough of that....
The "Ambient isn't that bad actually. Much better looking than the computer graphic pics on the web. The Blue and Purple is much darker but the Pink I will live with it. When the "Trance" is available I will probably still get it cuz it looks so cool. Probably the #1 color scheme for this model and I'll bet most people are waiting for the Trance and will pass on the others so NTK should really get going on getting the Trance out there
I did get to fly it for about an hour is some light 5-9 winds. Much lighter feeling as Dod pointed out than the New Jam but yet very similar. Enjoyed it very much and I'll bet it will see lots of air time in the future. Flew it on some 90#/85ft. lines which we're probably about right for the winds. Was able to do some Snap Stalls and some nice sharp square turns. Can't do much else yet. Spin Stall Slide still evades me for some reason but I'm working on it...
I like the looks and shape of the Techno very much and the rugged frame. sail was a little noisy but think I need some Trailing edge line adjustments. WingTip to WinTip setup actually measured for me 85" and is 41" Tall from Ground to Tip of nose...

Although dissapointed in the color a tad I will live with it cuz this seems like the perfect kite for my newbie ability level...Nice work Dodd

Good luck getting a reply, i have sent an email to every address listed on thier site.finally he called me after 4 days, but only because Ed called and talked to him for me.
still no e mail responses.
And even after he finally got in touch with me yesterday, it still hasnt been shipped. 5 days and still not shipped is unacceptable to me.
and to top it off, i dont get the color i originally ordered.

Aparently, there was a unexpected delay from the material manufacturer for the specific color, white diesup material that is used on the "Trance"
For that I apoligize< I stil do not know the status of this one of three color combinations, but I wil do eveything I can to give you a fast resonse to your questions.
The other two colors as you know by now, are availbable in limited quantities from authorized dealers around the country.
But they are available.

I would call but i cant call long distance.
I sent him an email requesting him to ship his orders though lol
No school or work moday, would like to fly a techno
no luck today, maybe tomorrow? heh

Im not even sure if im getting a techno lol, all i know is that i have paid for one.

I hope he(general manager) has some good stuff to say.. Im looking to buying the Techno TRANCE this coming August without a doubt!..it better be available.. I MEAN I MEAN "I HOPE its available"
